Join us in Charleston this October!

We invite genetic professionals from across South Carolina to join us for our SCGCS Annual Education Conference on Friday, October 10th, 2025 at the Medical University of South Carolina.

This event brings together genetic counselors, clinical and laboratory professionals, researchers, educators, and trainees for a day of learning, collaboration, and networking.

This is a free event for all genetic counseling trainees and in-state genetic counselors.

Out-of-state genetic counselors are welcome for just $10, and sponsors may attend for $20.

Only cash/ check is accepted at registration.

We kindly request prospective students interested in genetic counseling attend virtually.

The National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) has authorized South Carolina Genetic Counseling Society to offer up to 0.4 CEUs or 4 Category 1 contact hours for the activity 2025 South Carolina Genetic Counseling Society Annual Educational Conference. The American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) will accept CEUs earned at this program for the purposes of genetic counselor recertification.

Free CEUs are provided by SCGCS for in-state genetic counselors. Out-of-state genetic counselors can purchase CEUs for $35.
