About SCGCS
The South Carolina Genetic Counseling Society (SCGCS) is a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to advancing the field of genetic counseling within South Carolina. Our mission is to provide resources, support, and professional development opportunities for genetic counselors across the state. Through a range of initiatives, including educational programs, advocacy efforts, and networking events, we strive to enhance the practice of genetic counseling and ensure that both professionals and the communities they serve have access to the highest quality genetic health care. By fostering collaboration and innovation, SCGCS aims to elevate the profession and address the evolving needs of genetic counseling in South Carolina.
